These Terms of Service govern your use of ilenejoy.com and your purchase of Ilene Joy products. By accessing the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Products & Availability

Ilene Joy offers fine jewelry, including in-stock, made-to-order, custom, one-of-a-kind, and bespoke pieces.

Product availability, materials, stone details, production timelines, and descriptions are subject to change. We make every effort to display product information accurately. For collection pieces, stones are selected and matched with precision; in rare cases involving natural colored stones, color may vary slightly due to the individuality of the material.

Handmade Jewelry

Each Ilene Joy piece is handcrafted in Los Angeles by our master jeweler and highly skilled artisans.

Collection pieces are made according to Ilene Joy’s specifications with meticulous attention to proportion, stone matching, finish, and consistency. Made-to-order pieces are created with the same standards as in-stock pieces, while custom and one-of-a-kind designs are developed individually through the atelier.

Pricing

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices do not include applicable taxes, duties, customs fees, shipping upgrades, or other charges unless specifically noted.

Because Ilene Joy pieces are made in limited quantities and many are created to order, availability may change. If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, the atelier will contact you directly to discuss next steps.

Ilene Joy reserves the right to review orders before acceptance, including in cases of product unavailability, suspected fraud, or policy concerns. If we are unable to fulfill an order after payment has been processed, we will issue a refund for the canceled item.

Order Cancellations

In-stock orders may be canceled before they have shipped.

Custom, engagement, bespoke bridal, one-of-a-kind, special-order, engraved, resized, altered, and personalized orders may be canceled within 24 hours of being placed. After that window, these orders may not be eligible for cancellation once sourcing, design, or production has begun.

Payment

Payment must be received before an order is processed. Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout.

If you would like to arrange an alternate payment method, please contact the atelier at atelier@ilenejoy.com before placing your order.

Production Timelines

In-stock pieces typically ship within 1–2 business days.

Made-to-order, custom, engagement, and one-of-a-kind pieces require additional production time. Made-to-order standard collection pieces are generally ready to ship within 1–2 weeks unless otherwise noted on the product page or communicated by the atelier.

Production timelines are estimates and may vary based on materials, stones, design complexity, and atelier schedule.

Custom, Engagement & One-of-a-Kind Orders

Custom, engagement, bespoke bridal, one-of-a-kind, special-order, engraved, resized, altered, and personalized pieces are final sale.

Deposits or payments for custom work may be non-refundable once sourcing, design, or production has begun.

Shipping

Shipping terms are outlined in our Shipping & Returns policy. Ilene Joy is not responsible for carrier delays, customs delays, incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer, or packages that cannot be delivered because no authorized recipient is available to sign.

International Orders

International clients are responsible for all duties, taxes, customs fees, brokerage fees, and import charges, as these fees are not dictated by Ilene Joy.

Eligible international orders may be returned according to our Shipping & Returns policy.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns and exchanges are governed by our Shipping & Returns policy. Items must meet all eligibility requirements to be accepted.

Ilene Joy reserves the right to refuse any return or exchange that does not comply with our policy.

Repairs

Repair requests are reviewed by the atelier. Repair eligibility, timing, and cost depend on the piece and condition. Pieces altered or serviced by another jeweler may no longer be eligible for Ilene Joy repair or warranty review.

Intellectual Property

All content on ilenejoy.com, including text, images, product names, designs, graphics, logos, photography, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Ilene Joy and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or used without written permission.

Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. Ilene Joy is not responsible for third-party content, policies, products, or services.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ilene Joy is not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or purchase of products.

We may update these Terms as necessary. Changes will be posted on this page with a “Last updated” date.
