How long does a custom charm necklace take to make?

Each charm necklace is handmade to order and is typically ready to ship in 2 to 4 weeks. In-stock pieces ship within 2 to 5 business days.

What are Ilene Joy charm necklaces made of?

Solid 14k or 18k gold. The charms and medallions are individually crafted and set with pavé diamonds and gemstones, and every piece is handmade.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Domestic orders ship with complimentary, fully insured shipping. International orders are welcome — email atelier@ilenejoy.com and we reply within one business day.

How does the charm builder work?

Choose your gold chain, then layer on charms and medallions while previewing your design as a flatlay and on a model. When it looks right, add it to cart and check out, and each arrangement is hand-finished by our jeweler.

Can I get help choosing size or fit?

Yes. Email us for size and fit advice, detailed product information, or VIP concierge and personal shopping.

Can I return or exchange a custom piece?

Custom pieces, engagement rings and bespoke bridal pieces are final sale. Made-to-order collection pieces may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 14 days of delivery. Eligible in-stock pieces may be returned for a refund within 14 days of delivery. Every return must be unworn and unaltered, in its original packaging with our authenticity tag and seal intact. Yes. Every piece is handmade to order by the Ilene Joy master jeweler and small team, with more than twenty years of craft behind it.
